Which Plan is Right for You?

It is tough to picture laundry in pounds when you have never weighed your clothes.

THINK ABOUT IT LIKE THIS:

• 20 lbs per week
• 6 t-shirts
• 2 button down shirts
• 1 flannel shirt
• 2 pairs of jeans
• 2 pairs of shorts
• 9 pairs of underwear
• 8 pairs of socks
• 1 towels

• 25 lbs per week
• 8 t-shirts
• 3 button down shirts
• 1 flannel shirt
• 5 pairs of jeans
• 3 pairs of shorts
• 10 pairs of underwear
• 10 pairs of socks
• 4 towels

DO I NEED TO SEPARATE MY CLOTHES?

There is no need to separate your clothes; however, you should be sure that your socks are not balled up and there are not clothes inside of clothes - like two shirts you took off together. This can prevent your clothes from proper washing and drying. If you would like something special done with your clothes, we would be more than happy to comply, if possible. All laundry is washed together, unless specifically notified on the inventory checklist. Please make sure you write down all specifics on the checklist. This will ensure any confusion of how your clothes will be washed and dried. Xpress Laundry Service assumes that all items you submit in your laundry bag are washable.

WHAT ABOUT SWEATERS AND DELICATES?

Please utilize the inventory checklist to note any special care instructions for sweaters or delicates. Please do not put dry cleaning items inside your laundry bag under any circumstance.

WILL MY STUFF SHRINK?

If you are worried about something shrinking and don't want an article to be dried, no problem. Just put in a note with a description of the article and request that it be air dried. These items will most likely come back damp (and wrapped separately) with your regular delivery, but it will definitely avoid any possible shrinkage. If you don't like the idea of getting some clothes back wet, request having your clothes low heat dried. We will gladly lower the heat on our dryers for you. This will not only reduce any shrinkage, but will also allow the clothing to smell fresher - and there is no extra charge! There may still be some shrinking with certain fabrics and especially with newer clothes, however.

WHAT IF I GIVE YOU SOMETHING BRAND NEW?

Please let us know when you are washing something for the first time. Also, please write down on the inventory sheet is an article of clothing is new.

HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT NOTHING IS MISSING?

We wash and dry all customers’ clothes completely separate. To further ensure against any laundry mix ups, we have each customer complete an inventory checklist before pickup and after delivery.

***Please remember to remove all items, especially pens, from your pockets before submitting them to Xpress Laundry Service. We are not responsible for any damages from items left in your pockets.
